Description: Planning and overseeing all aspects of banquet events, including budget, staffing, menu selection, decor, and audio/visual needs.
Coordinating with other hotel staff to ensure smooth event operations.
Working with clients to understand their event needs and develop customized menus and packages.
Negotiating contracts with suppliers for food, drink, and equipment rentals.
Assisting in menu planning and advising on set-up plans.
Determining and scheduling appropriate staffing levels.
Communicating adjustments of events throughout the concerned departments.
Controlling the usage of food and beverage items and appropriate usage of banquet equipment.

Requirements: Accredited certificate or diploma in catering, culinary Arts, hospitality, or similar.
Bachelors degree in hospitality and culinary arts preferred.
3-5 years of experience in banquet management, or similar.
Proficiency in catering management software, such as Better Cater and Caterease.
Exceptional ability to plan banquets, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
Experience in supervising banquet venue staff.
Ability to collaborate with Banquet Sales Directors and Head Chefs.
Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
