Description: Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas assigned to him/her such as lobbies, staircases, bathrooms, and other building areas, as well as surrounding outer space.
Overseeing the monitoring of the inventory by taking note of missing cleaning supplies and notifying the management when additional stock is needed.
Handling special request projects and one-off tasks.
Cleaning public areas and apartments.
Moving appliances and furniture.
Removing garbage and lifting furniture into a dumpster.
Using an automated compactor appropriately.
Keeping the porter supply closets neat and organized.
Carrying guests’ luggage.
Fixing minor issues (like changing light bulbs) and cleaning building areas, including entrances.
Answering guest questions about their facility.
Helping guests with their maneuver their luggage to and from their vehicle.
Coordinating with other staff to ensure guest safety.
Greeting guests and showing them to their rooms.
