Description
Welcoming visitors: Greeting visitors to the building and creating a welcoming environment
Answering phone calls: Answering and directing phone calls, and fielding questions from callers
Managing calendars: Organizing and maintaining managers calendars, and scheduling meetings
Performing clerical tasks: Filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Handling guest complaints: Solving guest issues, which may involve collaborating with other departments or outside contractors
Providing customer service: Remaining calm, acknowledging and researching concerns, and resolving issues
Performing administrative duties: Receiving shipments, and preparing logistical requirements for firm activities
Managing room reservations: Performing check-ins and check-outs
Front desk staff are often the first point of contact for guests and visitors, so its important for them to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
