As a Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with neurological disorders. You will work closely with our team of physicians and medical professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of neurological conditions, such as epilepsy, stroke, Alzheimers disease, Parkinsons disease, and multiple sclerosis. Your expertise and knowledge will be integral in developing and implementing treatment plans that improve the overall health and well-being of our patients.



Responsibilities:



- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments, including physical examinations, neurological tests, and medical history review

- Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions using the latest medical technology and procedures

- Work collaboratively with our team of physicians to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient

- Educate patients and their families on the nature of their illness, treatment options, and any lifestyle modifications necessary for managing their condition

- Stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of neurology and incorporate new treatments and techniques into patient care

- Provide on-call coverage and consultations for urgent or emergency cases

- Participate in research projects and clinical trials to advance knowledge and treatments in the field of neurology

- Mentor and train medical students, residents, and fellows in neurology



Requirements
Degree in medicine or osteopathy (essential).
Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
3 years of specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program (essential).
Current state medical license and Federal DEA license (essential).
Completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (essential).
