Description
We are looking for a Medical Insurance Coordinator to ensure that all billing and insurance-related services are properly managed and maintained.

Medical Insurance Co-ordinator Responsibilities:

-Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
-Maintain and update patient billing information
-Resolve insurance billing discrepancies and denials
-Answer patient billing and insurance inquiries
Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
• To ensure proper functioning of the Insurance department.
• Documentation of all claims, ensure effective submission and coordination of all insurance related activities in the clinic.
• To obtain approvals for medical procedures and coordinating with insurance companies for obtaining information on new policies and their coverage.
• Ensuring coverage of claims, guiding staff for correct use age of claim forms, approval papers.
• Explaining coverage of medical benefits and liaising with patients regarding their eligibility and entitlements.
• Assisting invoicing team in insurance processing and billing.
• To liaise with insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, approvals, reconciliation and other requirements.
• To train and educate staff on insurance matters
• To maintain and update records related to pre-approvals and reconciliation.
• To coordinate and co-operate for smooth running of Insurance operations
