- Description
- Their primary responsibility is to follow an assigned route and pick up passengers along that route. They take these passengers to specified destinations along their route. Their responsibilities include keeping to the operating schedule for their routes, obeying traffic laws and assisting clients with disabilities.
- Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and valid drivers license.
Minimum of two years EMT and driving experience.
First aid and CPR certification.
Knowledge of radio transmission codes.
Emergency vehicle operator certification may be advantageous.
Excellent defensive driving skills and the ability to read a map.
