- Patient Care:
Helping patients with essential daily tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Measuring and recording vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and reporting any changes in a patients condition to the nursing staff.
Mobility Assistance:
Assisting patients with turning, repositioning, and moving between beds, wheelchairs, and other surfaces.
Environmental Maintenance:
Maintaining patient hygiene, changing bed linens, and keeping patient areas clean and sanitized according to facility policy.
Documentation:
Accurately recording patient information and the care provided in patient records or electronic health records.
Support:
Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
