- Mechanical Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. They work on a wide range of products, including machinery, engines, and robotics. Mechanical Engineers use their knowledge of physics, materials science, and mathematics to create innovative solutions and improve existing designs.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems and components.
Conduct research and analyze data to solve engineering problems.
Perform simulations and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs.
Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to optimize designs for manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.
Optimize existing designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Communicate and present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of mechanical principles and materials science.
Experience with product development and project management.
- Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree from a nationally accredited Engineering program.
Minimum 10 years of experience working within an International Design Firm, with a focus on Plumbing and Fire Protection Design.
Demonstrated proficiency in specification writing in CSI Master Format.
Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through design and the construction process.
As a Mechanical Engineer with hydraulic emphasis, you will be expected to have full knowledge and expertise in Fire Protection and Plumbing systems design, including hydraulic calculations, life cycle cost analysis, drawing production and the candidate should have experience with the latest versions of NFPA Standards pertaining to fire protection design, with a working knowledge of plumbing.
