- Job Summary
Senior Computer Technician to work as a Workshop Manager to control the production through our company in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. The Workshop Manager must have vast technical knowledge of computers, laptops and tablets, and will help monitor and communicate stock levels, ensure that product orders are done and shipped at the earliest, and ensure that all staff adhere to health and safety standards.
Our company is in a transition phase from highly agile manufacturing to a more scalable operation building to stock. We therefore need somebody that can plan ahead and build scalable ways of working whilst also being adaptable to meet the business’ needs.
Core Responsibilities:
Managing Workshop staff, training, supervising and appraising. Therefore, extensive experience in computers Technical repair is a must.
Ensuring strict quality control of the workshop and technicians’ production.
Administering stock control and managing stock levels.
Managing a smooth and agile workflow through the Workshop.
Managing system inputs and orders allocation to technician.
Processing orders, liaising with transport companies and suppliers
Processing orders and international shipments
Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
Operating mechanical and IT systems
Managing anti-theft.
Managing returns
Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Requirements
- The operations supervisor will be responsible for order taking ,order sorting,directing the purchase team , arranging schedules for delivery, customer relations etc. The person should be proficient at multi tasking with good computer knowledge including accounting and MS Excel and excellent interpersonal skills. Arabic Language proficiency and drivers license would be an added advantage. candidates with experience in similar field for 2-5 years would be preferred.Successful candidate would be provided food, accommodation and commission for extra revenue earned in addition to basic salary. the candidate would have a probationary period of 3 months
