Description: We are looking for applicants for a florist position for a new flower and gift shop.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Serving customers, taking orders (in person, over the phone or online), preparing them to customer budget, satisfaction, and timeframe as well as selling giftware items and receiving payment.
2. Delivering arrangements to customers or oversee employees responsible for deliveries.
3. Maintain and manage inventories of materials, equipment, or products (including ordering, purchasing, managing vendor and supplier relations, and maintaining related records, documents, or other files).
4. Unpack and take care of stock as it comes into the shop.
5. Set up or break down at the start and end of the workday as well as general cleaning and straightening of workspaces daily to ensure the shop is clean and tidy. As well as creating and changing in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance the shops image.
6. Maintain daily records of sales and orders for accounts for POS systems in person and online.
7. Maintain photos of all variety of floral arrangements done as a sample or catalog for the guests and to promote business on social media accounts.
