This includes managing staff, handling customer service, controlling inventory and budgets, and maintaining food quality and safety. They are also responsible for implementing marketing strategies, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
Restaurant Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
-Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff
-Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times
-Handle paperwork and other administrative duties
-Maintain stock levels and order supplies when necessary
-Manage the budget and keep relevant statistical and financial records
-Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
-Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant patrons and employees
