Description: Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty. Identify clients goals for treatment. Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs. Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency.

Requirements: EDUCATION:

BSc in Speech-language pathology/ Speech and language therapy /Speech pathology /Speech therapy/Speech (minimum 3 years course duration)

OR

BSc in Communication or Psychology or Linguistics & Master’s program in speech language pathology from an accredited educational institution, college or university

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years clinical experience post qualification. Experience must include NEURO REHAB experience in a hospital or rehab setting.

Note: Community service and working in school settings will not be considered.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Must be eligible for the DOH - Department of Health license Abu-Dhabi or transferable UAE license as an Speech Therapist.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent in English - Oral and Written.
