Compiles and records medical charts, reports, and correspondence using a computer and various software programs. Transmits correspondence and medical records by mail, email, or fax. Schedules and confirms patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations.
Requirements
Experience with electronic medical records.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a Medical Secretary.
Degree from approved medical administrative program or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
