Description
Manages activities of a medical records department that includes the planning and organizing of the documentation, storage and retrieval of medical records.

Duties:

Supervises and coordinates the work activities of subordinates.

Implements and modifies medical records system, which complies with licensing and ambulatory care accreditation and statutory requirements.

Participates in the development and implements policies to preserve the confidentiality of information contained in the medical records and monitors compliance.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Medical Records Clerk or similar role
Advanced understanding of medical terminology and administration processes
Proficient in information management programs and MS Office
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Medical Records Clerk
