A Dental Nurse plays a critical role in providing patient care and assisting dentists during various dental procedures. They are responsible for ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments. Dental Nurses also provide support in administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to put patients at ease.

Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and passing them to the dentist.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Prepare materials for dental impressions or restorations.
• Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during treatments.
• Educate patients about proper dental hygiene practices.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Manage the inventory of dental supplies and order as needed.
• Follow infection control protocols to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements: ,General Nursing Diploma / Degree
• Current license to practice nursing
• Minimum 2 years general medical / surgical experience
• Private hospital experience desirable
