Description: We are looking for a dental hygienist to facilitate oral screenings, clean patients’ teeth for preventative care, and guide them through proper oral hygiene. The dental hygienist will also assist the dentist with other duties, such as taking X-rays, identifying gum and tooth diseases, and managing patient charts. We are committed to providing a positive and educational dental experience that encourages patients to take better care of their teeth, and our ideal candidate will be an active participant in this mission.

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

-Sterilize dental equipment
-Communicate with patients regarding dental concerns
-Clean patients’ teeth by applying fluoride or removing calcareous deposits
-Promote best oral health habits to patients
-Assist the dentist with minor procedures
-Review patients’ dental history before providing dental treatment
-Skills and qualifications

Requirements: Associate’s degree from an accredited hygiene program.
State hygiene license.
Current CPR certificate.
Current on Hepatitis B vaccination.
Ability to administer local anesthetic agents.
Able to use an x-ray machine.
