Description: Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts to form complete units or sub-units, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. Moves parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes. Lays out and examine metal stock or work-pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met. Verifies conformance of work-pieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes. Tack-welds fitted parts together.
• Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels, and tape measures.
• Must be able to make repair welds using fabrication equipment to include but not limited to using cutting torches, hand grinders, surface grinders and wheel grinders
• Must have experience in machineries such as meter saw, cnc, crimping machine
Requirements:
