- Description
- Fiber optic technicians work in commercial and residential settings, installing new fiber optic lines and making repairs to existing networks. You may also be responsible for setting up equipment, like modems, or helping clients establish email accounts.
- Requirements
- Should be well-versed in Fluke test, OTDR and other kinds of network cable testing.
Should be able to work in confined spaces as well as work at heights (if required)
Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, leakage detection devices, and test equipment.
