- monitoring stock and working out what is required for customer order
creating floral displays, wreaths and bouquets based on either your own designs, from design books or customers requirements
selling cut flowers, flower arrangements and perhaps pot plants or related products to customers
arranging delivery to customers
advising customers on choosing flowers suitable for an occasion
keeping the shop clean and tidy
handling payments, and keeping accounts.
- Requirements
- Have a strong knowledge about range of floral designs, flowers along with their seasonal availability.
Must be friendly, helpful, ambitious and able to multi task.
Basic Skills:
- basic Computer skills and internet searching
- knowledge about POS/ Microsoft apps
- gift wrapping
- contacting with suppliers
- customer service
- Basic knowledge of flower care methods
- fluent in English ( read, write and speak)
