Description: We are looking for florists with experience
Making floral arrangements for display at occasions
Work with clients to fulfill their vision for occasions such as weddings or celebrations and events

Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers and fulfill large orders

Inform customers about the care maintenance and handling of flowers and foliage

Provide advice and suggestions for flower selection

Unpack flowers and prepare for storage

Deliver flowers to clients if necessary Maintaining flowers on daily basis cut stems to proper length

keep flowers watered and fresh and discard wilting or dead arrangements

changing water every day on the display and flowers in the shop

Prepare window displays

Checking the floral inventory

check availability and prepare the flower inventory list

Requirements: Knowledge of how to look after and handle different flowers and plants
artistic flair and a good eye for shape and colour
gentle, skilful fingers for handling the delicate flowers
good communication skills with a wide range of people
number skills for dealing with money
the ability to work quickly, carefully and to tight deadlines
monitoring stock and working out what is required for customer order
creating floral displays, wreaths and bouquets based on either your own designs, from design books or customers requirements
selling cut flowers, flower arrangements and perhaps pot plants or related products to customers
arranging delivery to customers
advising customers on choosing flowers suitable for an occasion
keeping the shop clean and tidy
handling payments, and keeping accounts.
