Description: We are looking for Materials & Corrosion Engineer for our asset integrity department to be based in Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:
Executing materials and corrosion analysis/studies under the supervision of Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer.
Should be able to produce detailed calculations as and when required.
Producing high quality deliverables as part of the project.

Be competent to check and QAQC calculations and reports produced by other engineers related to corrosion analysis and materials selection.
Interact with Quality Assurance for quality issues; strictly ensure compliance with Companys Quality procedures.

Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management System must be implemented within the area of operation as per the company approved procedures and ISO Standards.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
Knowledge of materials behaviors and corrosion analysis.

Experience in materials selection for Oil and Gas assetsUse of industry recognized software for corrosion rate analysisKnowledge of CP systems performance analysis and designKnowledge of FFS relevant codes and standards (such as API 579, ASME B31G etc.)High level of computer literacy with MS Office (specifically Word & Excel) and experience of other specific analysis software packages (e.g.

Requirements: Degree qualified in a recognized engineering or science related discipline, preferably
holding and maintaining chartered status and corporate membership of at least one
relevant learned institution.
 Minimum 5 years’ successful corrosion practitioner experience in the oil and gas or
related industries with sound knowledge of relevant plant, process or production chemistry,
and structural and process materials properties.
 Must be able to demonstrate up–to-date knowledge of and be able to use applicable
national and international standards in the corrosion or related fields.
 Must possess proven and successful experience in delivery of high quality oral and written
communications.
