Description
The Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding premises, assets, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring activities, enforcing site rules, reporting incidents, and assisting in emergency situations in accordance with UAE laws and company policies.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, suspicious activity, theft, vandalism, and safety hazards.
Control access at gates, entrances, and reception areas by verifying identification, logging visitors, and authorizing entry.
Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits to ensure safety compliance.
Record and report all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity in the security logbook and escalate to management.
Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical situations, or disturbances, and coordinate with local authorities when required.
Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors with directions, information, and safety guidelines.
Maintain order during events or busy operational hours, ensuring crowd control and adherence to site regulations.
Support lost and found procedures by recording, reporting, and handing over items as per UAE law and company policy.
Cooperate with law enforcement, civil defense, and emergency response teams as needed.
Follow company standards on grooming, discipline, punctuality, and customer service.

Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid UAE Security Guard License (SIRA, DPS, or equivalent, depending on emirate).
Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response is an advantage.
Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an added benefit.
