- We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of biomedical engineering principles in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, testing, and implementation of biomedical devices and medical equipment.
Oversee maintenance, calibration, and repair of critical medical technologies to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with clinical staff, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage biomedical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Conduct risk assessments and develop protocols to mitigate equipment-related hazards.
Stay updated on emerging biomedical technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain documentation including technical reports, manuals, and compliance records.
Support procurement and evaluation of new medical equipment and technology.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, or a related field.
Professional Licensed Engineer (P.E.) with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
Proven experience working within the field of biomedical engineering.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Great eye for design and the technical ability to transform designs into products.
Exceptional team-working and communication skills.
