Cosmetic surgery: Enhancing a persons appearance through procedures like facelifts, liposuction, and rhinoplasty.
Patient care: Examining patients, discussing treatment options, explaining risks, and providing follow-up care.
Teaching: Teaching trainee surgeons and updating records.
Administrative duties: Performing other non-surgery-related tasks.
Plastic surgeons may work on any part of the body, but some specialize in specific areas like the face or hands. They may also work on a variety of cases, from brief operations to lengthy, complex surgeries.
To become a plastic surgeon, you need to complete extensive training, including:

Requirements: A degree in medicine.
A completed residency.
