Description
We are looking for a pharmacovigilance officer for monitoring and reporting of the effectiveness and any adverse effects or side effects of pharmaceutical products on the market in the general population and in hospitals and research trials. They must liaise closely with medical and drug company representatives, patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals to record the effectiveness of drugs and other treatments. The data is meticulously recorded, analysed and processed because the informed opinions of pharmacovigilance officers will help the company maximise product safety and performance and cut down on adverse effects.

Responsibilities Pharmacovigilance Officer:

-Conduct in-depth interviews with patients
-Develop thorough knowledge of products
-Conduct safety update reports on drugs and other treatments
-Write and review serious adverse effects reports and forms for the pharmacovigilance departments of pharmaceutical firms
-Signal of early warning signs of adverse effects of drugs
-Risk minimisation
Requirements
Qualifications:

Medical doctorate degree required.
8 or more years of pharmaceutical experience. Immuno-oncology, cell therapy, or inflammation are preferred.
Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, ability to analyze complex issues and develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations.
Effective communication is a key aspect as this role involves close collaboration with colleagues from other functions such as Clinical Sciences, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Translational Medicine, Data Management, Quality Assurance, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Legal.
Excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Deep clinical knowledge, with medical practice experience.
Excellent ability to communicate, specifically on medical and scientific topics.
