Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To manage the flow of patients arriving at the reception desk, for appointments, prescriptions or queries. To ensure all telephone calls are managed appropriately and professionally. or a manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels.
Requirements
A graduate preferably with a minimum of two years experience in a similar capacity.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Excellent communication skills to answer telephones, answer questions, process messages, and interact with colleagues, and visitors.
Computer proficiency is a must.
Numeracy skills and ability to handle cash.
Responsive and attentive to patients needs and immediate attention to emergency incidents.
Good team worker with an ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
Must maintain well-groomed, professional appearance, and possess manners appropriate to greet patients and visitors.
Experience within a healthcare environment would be an added advantage.
