Description
A Paramedic is a skilled healthcare professional trained to deliver immediate medical care in emergency situations. They provide essential life-saving treatment, including first aid, to individuals in critical conditions, making a significant impact on saving lives and promoting patient well-being.

We are looking for an experienced paramedic to be a member of our team of healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide swift emergency medical care that will include responding to emergency calls, performing various medical procedures, administering medication, when needed, and transporting patients to healthcare facilities. You must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

To be successful in this role you must be committed to providing the best patient care. You will be compassionate, focused, and able to collaborate with other first responders, such as police officers and firefighters.

Paramedic responsibilities include:

> Operating ambulance equipment and responding to radio transmissions
> Leading and coordinating the team responding to an emergency
> Evaluating the patient’s condition on the scene and performing preliminary diagnosis
> Attend to injuries or sudden illnesses by applying a variety of pre-hospital simple and advanced treatments (first aid, > CPR, administering injections and oxygen etc.) or surgical procedures
> Use tech equipment and tools to stabilize patients or provide immediate treatment
> Monitor patient’s condition en route to the hospital
> Collaborate with interested parties (police, firefighting unit, doctors etc.)
> Write and submit concrete and accurate reports on incidents
> Adhere to established medical protocols and procedures as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards
> Keep abreast with new treatment and medical procedures through continuous training
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in paramedical science.
NREMT certification and must be registered with the relevant Health Professions Council.
Proven experience as a Paramedic.
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of on-site medical procedures, terminology, and medications.
Experience using medical equipment and devices.
Able to work irregular hours, including weekends and national holidays.
Excellent level of fitness, stamina, eyesight, and physical agility.
