Description: Diagnosis & Treatment:

Examining patients and taking detailed medical histories to identify musculoskeletal disorders.

Prescribing appropriate medications, physical therapy, casting, and other non-surgical treatments.
Performing surgical procedures such as joint replacement, fracture repair, and corrective surgeries to restore musculoskeletal function.

Patient Care:

Educating patients about their condition, treatment plans, and procedures.

Monitoring patients progress through regular check-ups and follow-up appointments.
Providing ongoing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.

Professional Practice:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, such as radiologists, physical therapists, and nurses, for comprehensive care.
Participating in professional development activities and courses to stay informed about advances in orthopedic surgery.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:
A Bachelors degree followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Training:
Successful completion of a residency program specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Licensure:
A valid medical license and state license, along with a valid DEA certificate.
Certification:
Board certification in orthopedic surgery is often required
