- An Operating Theatre (OT) Technicians primary role is to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of the operating room, supporting the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting with patient positioning and transfer, maintaining equipment, and providing technical assistance to surgeons and nurses.
- Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Surgical Technician or similar role
Experience with instrumentation in the operating room
Strong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedure
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and Surgical Technician certification
