Description
The Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) is a licensed medical specialist responsible for providing comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology, including prenatal, delivery, postnatal, and general women’s reproductive health services. The role involves diagnosing and treating a range of conditions related to the female reproductive system while ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and ethical standards. The OB-GYN will work in a hospital or clinical setting, often in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Providing prenatal care, monitoring fetal development, and managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Performing deliveries, including natural births and cesarean sections, with a focus on maternal and neonatal safety.
• Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions such as infections, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and infertility.
• Conducting routine screenings and preventive care, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and ultrasounds.
• Advising patients on family planning, contraception, menopause, and overall reproductive health.
• Performing minor and major gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopic procedures.
• Maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with UAE Ministry of Health and DHA/DOH standards.
• Collaborating with other medical staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensuring adherence to UAE medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and healthcare quality regulations.
Requirements
Experience: 3 years
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution, followed by specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid UAE license .
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Proficient in performing obstetric and gynecological procedures with up-to-date clinical knowledge.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage for patient communication.
• Commitment to continued medical education and professional development.
