Description: Patient care: Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
Vital signs: Monitoring and recording a patients vital signs, such as blood pressure and blood sugar
Mobility: Helping patients get in and out of bed, use the bathroom, and walk
Hygiene: Ensuring patients are clean and maintaining a clean environment
Bedding: Making and changing beds, and providing and cleaning bedpans
Communication: Communicating with patients, their family, and senior staff
Treatment plans: Collecting information on treatment plans and patient information from the care team
Medication: Ensuring patients take their medication
Patient needs: Observing a patients wellbeing and needs
Patient safety: Monitoring the overall health and safety of patients
Patient calls: Answering patient call signals

Requirements: A valid nursing license.
Prior experience as a nursing assistant
Completed training as a nursing assistant.
Patience.
Compassion.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work long shifts.
Strength to lift and move patients.
