Description: A Nephrologist in Lagos diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with kidney-related diseases and conditions, including those affecting the kidneys and related systems. They are responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress, often in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in cardiology.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and/or a sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
