Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our growing team.



Position Overview:



As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborn babies in our client hospitals. You will work closely with a team of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health, growth, and development of premature and sick infants.



Key Responsibilities:



- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests for newborn infants, including those born prematurely or with medical conditions

- Develop and implement treatment plans for infants with complex medical needs, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed

- Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies and deliveries to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the mother and infant

- Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical catheterization, and central line placement in accordance with established guidelines

- Provide guidance and support to parents and families of newborns, addressing any concerns or questions regarding their babys health and development

- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans

- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies

- Actively participate in continuous education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field of neonatology

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to conduct research and contribute to the advancement of neonatal medicine



Requirements
Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of a residency in pediatrics and fellowship in neonatology
- Board certification in Neonatology
- State medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Passion for providing the best possible care for infants and their families
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations
