Description: Providing care: Diagnosing and treating newborns with infections, breathing disorders, and birth defects. They also coordinate care and manage treatment for newborns who are critically ill, premature, or require surgery.
Supporting parents: Helping parents understand their infants condition and treatment, and ensuring they have opportunities to bond with their infant.
Conducting research: Participating in clinical trials and research.
Managing resources: Participating in the management of physical and manpower resources in the department.
Attending meetings: Participating in multidisciplinary clinical forums, grand rounds, and follow up clinics.
Continuing professional development: Participating in continuous professional development (CPD)

Requirements: Qualifications:

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

- Valid state medical license and DEA certification

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Neonatologist

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills

- Proficiency in various medical procedures and techniques, including mechanical ventilation and neonatal resuscitation

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

- Dedication to providing quality and compassionate care to newborn infants and their families
