Pre-Authorization:
Secure necessary approvals from insurance companies before procedures and treatments are rendered.
Claims Processing:
Accurately process claims for services, using correct medical coding for diagnoses and procedures.
Liaison Activities:
Act as a primary point of contact for patients, providers, and payers to address insurance-related inquiries.
Denial Management:
Investigate claim denials and work to resolve issues, resubmit claims, and update relevant databases.
Coding and Documentation:
Ensure the accurate and timely coding of treatments and procedures based on medical records and coding guidelines.
Patient Communication:
Inform patients about their coverage, billing, and any outstanding balances.
Regulatory Compliance:
Follow coding guidelines and federal and state regulations to maintain compliance
