- A reputable and well-known medical center in Ajman is seeking a part-time or full-time Insurance Coordinator cum Receptionist. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in a medical center and be fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Position: Insurance Coordinator cum Receptionist
Location: Ajman
Job Type: Part-time (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM) or Full-time (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) and (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
Salary: AED 1,250 – AED 2,500/month
Job Description:
Handle daily insurance-related tasks, such as eligibility checks, pre-approvals, and verifications for outpatient (OP) services.
Ensure compliance with department turnaround times, quality standards, and productivity goals.
Coordinate with insurance companies/TPAs and in-house doctors for approval matters.
Work with the medical center finance department and head office for invoicing, claim submission/resubmission, and reconciliation.
Evaluate and process claims as per insurance policy terms and conditions.
Prepare and submit final approvals for OP claims within the stipulated timeframe.
Identify and report any issues or observations affecting claim processing.
Review patient files and documents for accuracy and ensure all codes are current.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email.
Schedule appointments and procedures while verifying insurance details.
- Requirements
- High school degree, GED or related.
Minimum of 2 years in a dentist office environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with data entry.
Experience in dental practice management software.
Microsoft Office experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
