Description: Operating laser systems
Set up and operate laser technology for procedures like hair removal, skin resurfacing, and tattoo removal
Maintaining equipment
Test and maintain laser components, calibrate equipment, and perform quality control checks
Ensuring safety
Follow safety protocols during treatments and make sure the work space is clean and sterile
Educating clients
Explain treatment protocols and policies, and advise on post-treatment care
Documenting
Keep accurate logs of services provided and client information
Collaborating
Work with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for clients
Laser technicians may work in industrial, medical, or research settings, and may work with engineers or physicists. They may also work in communications, military, or space projects, or research and development.

Requirements: Certificate from a vocational school
Certification from NCLC (preferred)
Customer service and patient care skills
Laser and cosmetology experience
