- Laser Technicians are primarily responsible for treating clients using advanced laser technology. Laser Technicians must maintain professionalism in many different scenarios including positive, negative or emotional situations. Laser Technicians are also uniquely qualified to upsell packages and sell products that would benefit the client, based on what is being treated.
- Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Photonics, Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience working as a Photonics Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and practices is a plus.
Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and modeling photonics systems is desirable.
Knowledge of programming languages, such as MATLAB or Python, is advantageous.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
