Description: A Hearing Aid Technician, also known as a Hearing Aid Specialist or Audiology Technician, is responsible for assessing patients hearing needs, fitting and programming hearing aids based on an audiologists recommendations, providing patient education on proper use and maintenance, and performing minor repairs to ensure optimal hearing aid functionality; they work closely with audiologists to deliver comprehensive hearing healthcare services to clients.

Requirements: Hearing aid technicians is required to have a high school diploma or GED.
Candidates must have completed a two-year associate degree program in audiology or a related field. These programs include courses in anatomy, physiology, acoustics, physiology, electronics and engineering.
