Health Care Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties
Coordinate and manage patient care plans
Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
Schedule and oversee patient appointments and follow-ups
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Assist patients with insurance claims and billing inquiries
Evaluate and assess patient needs and resources
Identify and address gaps in healthcare services
Provide education and resources to patients and their families
Develop and implement healthcare strategies and protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Requirements
- A bachelors degree in health care or administration.
At least three years experience as a medical administrative officer or a similar role.
Knowledge of key medical reports such as pathology reports and general-health checks.
Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities.
Top-notch client interaction skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
A general understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations.
