- Prepares and rooms patients within the clinical practice setting according to standardized work flows. Accurately obtains patient vital signs, documents patient information, patient history, tobacco, and medication screening. May assist in the administration of depression screening tools.

- The minimum qualifications for an ENT physician assistant include a master’s degree in a physician assistant program. After graduation, you have to obtain your physician assistant license. All US states require licensure for you to practice. The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is the organization that administers the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination. To maintain your physician’s assistant license, you must do 100 hours of continuing education every two years. Once you complete your degree and obtain your license, you can choose to pursue additional education to specialize as an ENT. Strong communication skills are also essential.
