- Responsibilities. Consult with patients to ascertain the skin-related issues they are facing. Assess and investigate patients issues using a variety of techniques, including skin scraping. Diagnose patients conditions and develop treatment plans to improve or cure their conditions.
- Requirements
- Medical Degree with specialization in Dermatology.
Completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam.
Completion of a 3-year dermatology residency.
Attainment of a medical license.
Proficiency with dermatological tools such as comedone extractors, lancet extractors, and cryogens.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in mathematics.
