Description: A dental technician, also known as a dental technologist, is a healthcare professional who designs, fabricates, and repairs various dental appliances like crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on prescriptions from dentists, using specialized tools and materials in a dental laboratory to ensure proper fit and function for patients; their work primarily involves creating accurate models of patients teeth from impressions, then crafting dental prosthetics to replace missing teeth or restore damaged ones, requiring meticulous attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Requirements: Accredited dental laboratory technology program.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
Extensive experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, such as 3 Shape and Delfin Dental.
