Description: A dental technician, also known as a dental technologist, is a skilled professional who designs, constructs, and repairs various dental appliances like crowns, bridges, dentures, and braces based on prescriptions from dentists, using a variety of materials like porcelain, gold, and plastic, to improve a patients oral function and aesthetics, primarily working in a dental laboratory setting with specialized equipment and focusing on precise detail and craftsmanship; they may specialize in areas like prosthodontics (dentures), orthodontics (braces), or maxillofacial prosthetics (facial reconstruction) depending on their training and expertise.

Requirements: Accredited dental laboratory technology program.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
Extensive experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, such as 3 Shape and Delfin Dental.
