Creating dental devices: Using precision tools and equipment to shape materials like gold, porcelain, and plastic to make dental devices like dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances
Adjusting and polishing: Using hand and power tools to polish and shape devices to improve their function or look natural
- Requirements
- Accredited dental laboratory technology program.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT) preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
Extensive experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, such as 3 Shape and Delfin Dental.
Exceptional manual dexterity and precision.
Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
