Description: We are looking for a highly capable dental laboratory technician to construct dental prostheses and devices for our patients.

To ensure success as a dental laboratory technician, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of dental technologies and experience in a similar role.

Dental Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

-Restoring or replacing natural teeth by fabricating crowns, fixed and removable bridges, dentures, and dental implants.
-Constructing dental prostheses for implantology and maxillo-facial reconstructions.
-Receiving physical dental impression molds or computerized models from dental practices and studying dentists instructions.
-Encasing wax replicas of dental impressions with suitable mold materials.

Requirements: High school diploma with courses in art, ceramics, metalwork, and chemistry required for
entry-level position.
Experience in on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs preferred.
Certification by the National Board for Certification, National Association of Dental Laboratories preferred.
Ability to work with plaster, wax, porcelain, plastic, gold, and other metals.
Experience using hand tools for carving and shaping and electric drills, presses, lathes, and
high-heat furnaces for completing dental pieces.
Good vision and color sense.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity required.
Artistic aptitude for detailed and precise work.
