Description: A dental surgeon, also known as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, is a highly specialized dentist who performs complex surgical procedures on the teeth, gums, jawbones, and surrounding facial structures, including procedures like tooth extractions (especially wisdom teeth), dental implants, corrective jaw surgeries, facial trauma repair, and oral cancer biopsies, while also diagnosing and treating related oral health issues;

Requirements: Eligibility Criteria

Qualification
• Essential: Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Desired: Speciality specific.

Experience
• Essential: At least 3 years’ post qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
• Desired: At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.

Certification
• Certification and registration in a speciality recognized by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
