Description: Dental nurse supports the Cosmetic dentist and orthodontist in all aspects of patients’ care. Dental nurse is responsible for clients who will be there for a check-up, as well as those who will have more complicated treatment. The dental nurse is expected to reassure clients and put them at ease, while supporting the team in all aspects of care.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Establishes priorities of care, nursing actions and desired outcomes in a timely manner.

2. Performs nursing duties within scope of practice.

3. Good knowledge of contemporary Dental Nursing practices.

4. Demonstrates good communication skills, interacts effectively with patients, visitors and other staff.

5. Keeps own knowledge/skills current.

6. Attends meetings and training regularly.

7. Follows clinic policies and procedures.

8. Policy variances should be reported immediately as per the organization policy.

9. Maintains a professional demeanor.

10. Fosters a climate of mutual understanding, and appreciation of cross-cultural differences inherent in multicultural society and client base.

11. Participates in Unit Specific Quality Audits of Improvement initiatives as directed.

12. Maintain professional licensure as required by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and country of origin.

13. Participate in continuous quality improvement of the Center as and when required and any other work assigned by the HOD within the scope of the job.

Requirements: Certified Dental Nurse qualification.
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
