Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and compliance with safety standards in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair medical equipment and devices.
Perform regular inspections and calibrations to ensure equipment accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Document repairs, maintenance, and calibration activities.
Assist healthcare staff with the proper use of medical equipment.
Ensure equipment complies with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience with medical equipment maintenance and repair.
Knowledge of medical device safety and regulatory standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Requirements: A bachelors degree in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a biomedical technician.
Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in laymans terms.
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
Proficient dexterity and hand-eye coordination, as well as physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.
