- Description
- We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team. The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support in the operating room, including anesthesia equipment setup and maintenance, assistance with patient preparation, and assistance with anesthesia administration.
Anesthesia Technician Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
-Prepare and check anesthesia equipment prior to use
-Assist in the preparation of patient for surgery, including monitoring vital signs and preparing the operating room
-Assist with the administration of anesthesia according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist
-Monitor patient during and after surgery for adverse reactions to anesthesia
- Requirements
- Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) or equivalent
